Dangerously tasty, vegan burger heaven.
Here's how it's made:
2. Add the drained jackfruit to the pan, and return to a low heat. Gently stir through the sauce until it coats the jackfruit.
3. In a separate bowl, throw together a quick coleslaw with the shredded carrot, red cabbage, white cabbage, mayonnaise and mustard.
4. Grab a burger bun and load it up with your BBQ jackfruit, leaving a little space for the coleslaw on top.
5. Repeat the previous step until everyone has a deeeeeliicious burger in their hands.
400g jackfruit, rinsed and drained
For the sauce:
75ml BBQ Hoisin Sauce
75ml tomato ketchup
4 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp ginger, grated
2 tsp garlic powder
4 tbsp apple cider vinegar
For the slaw:
2 carrots, shredded
1/4 red cabbage, shredded
1/4 white cabbage, shredded
4 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp wholegrain mustard
