With a perfect marriage of spicy and slightly sweet goodness and a chewy texture, Tteokbokki is an incredibly addictive dish! A highly popular street food in Korea, these rice cakes are super easy to make for yourself at home, using our Sriracha Kimchi for some added spice and tanginess.

i) Mix all sauce ingredients together in a small bowl. Set aside.

ii) Bring water to a boil over medium heat. Add rice cakes and sauce. Stir around the skillet to combine, and boil for about 8-10 minutes until the sauce is thickened.

iii) Add green onion (and eggs if you fancy bulking it up), and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Serving suggestion: if you fancy making this dish even more of a treat, add a generous handful of grated cheese for that ultimate cheesy goodness (nothing beats a satisfying cheese pull).
